Considered one of the first “green” schools in San Antonio, Texas, Cibolo Green Elementary School (CGES) is included in the North East Independent School District and opened its doors in August 2010. Built with a focus on energy and water conservation, CGES is constructed of materials that are non-toxic and contain recycled content that also contribute to improved indoor air quality. The facility, which is under review by the U. S. Green Building Council (USGBC) for a Gold LEED rating, utilizes innovative design elements which allow its sustainable use of the site.
Why Azrock?
